What products/services does the company provide? 4. How many employees does the company have? 5. How long have they been in business? 6. How long has the company been part of the UT co-op program? 7. Does the comnpany hire co-op students from other institutions? 8. Where is the company located? Does it have more than one location? 9. In what location and division is the co-op position located? Who is the supervisor of this division? 10. What is the company's mission statement or philosophy? 11. What is the company's financial situation? Is it making money? 12. Has the company undergone any downsizing in the last five years? 13. Has the company experienced any growth in the last five years? When you research a company, you also want to ask yourself the following questions: 14. Why do I want to work here? (how does this company match up with my beliefs, goals, expectations, interests, envisioned career path.) 15. Why would they want to hire me? (how do I match up with the company's beliefs, goals, expectations, interests, envisioned career path.) 16. Would employment with this company help to meet my educational and career goals?
