Advanced Web Site Design This three-credit course covers HTML tables, HTML forms, HTML frames, meta tags, optimizing page loading speed, and cookies. An overview of imagemapping (from both the client-side and the server-side), the creation of static and animated web graphics, dynamic fonts, SMIL (Synchronized Multimedia Integration Language) as it relates to G2, Realtext, RealPix, and XML is included. It is assumed that students in this course have experience creating static web pages and, therefore, are familiar with basic HTML tags and techniques. Students are also expected to have completed EET 3150 UNIX, C and the Internet or its equivalent. The most important aspect of this requirement is that students have some experience with CGI programming.
