CSET 3300 MySQL/PHP Database Applications. [4 semester
credit hours (4-0-0)]. Covers PHP server-side scripting language and
the MySQL database server, explained for people who have neither a lot
of database administration background nor programming experience.
Matters of creating and querying databases, and of performing simple and
advanced operations with PHP scripting, are covered adroitly.
COURSE OBJECTIVES:
Students will be introduced to PHP and
MySQL two Open Source products.
Students will learn how to
successfully develop database-driven web
applications using Open Source technology .

You will be responsible for all material covered in class (lecture
and laboratory) as well as the assigned material in the textbook.
No make-up exams will be given unless prior notification is provided
to the instructor and permission is obtained. Make-up exams will be
given only in the case of unusual or extenuating circumstances.
ALL final grades are calculated based on completed course work.
No instructor drops (DR) will be given at the end of the semester.
